You are invited to attend a PhD Thesis Seminar entitled 'SYNTHESIS OF CLAY DERIVED NANOSILICATES IMPREGNATED WITH PROSOPISJULIFLORA BIOCHAR FOR REMOVAL OF SELECTED HEAVY METALS IN WATER' by Mr. Mohamed Hussein Omar, a PhD student in the Department to be held on Friday 16th September, 2022 as from 2.00 PM.
Dr Mwazighe is a member of staff in the Department. He did his PhD in Germany, and he is willing to share his experience on how to get a scholarship through writing a good proposal and identifying a willing supervisor in Germany. Those of you who wish to do short term research in Germany, may also benefit from the seminar.
The Department of Chemistry will be hosting the virtual 3rd International Inorganic Chemistry Conference from 29-30th September 2022. Details are available in the Conference flyer herein attached. We welcome abstracts in any of the thematic areas. Deadline for submission is 31st August 2022.
