The Department of Chemistry is currently reviewing its curriculum. The curriculum is being reviewed under the KEN-SPHEIR - Kenya-Nottingham(KEN) Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Innovation and Reform(SPHEIR) - with partners from the University of Nottingham and five local universities. This is a grants project and Department of Chemistry chairman, Prof John Onyari is the Lead researcher.From 1st-2nd March, 2019, the review committee had a retreat at Lake Naivasha Resort to finalize the document.
