ELECTROCHEMISTRY TRAINING WORKSHOP, NOV.14TH-18TH 2022

The Department of Chemistry organized for a five day workshop/seminar from November 14th-18th 2022 under the Theme: The Electrochemistry: Fundamentals and Applications in Sensing, Energy Production and Storage. This workshop was sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry/Pan African Chemistry Network.

This workshop presented opportunities for staff and students to engage with visiting faculty from Chimie Paris Tech/PSL who shared alot of information regarding to opportunities available for postgraduate students both MSc and PhD programmes and the possible staff mobility in Paris Tech/PSL. Already one of our MSc student Serah Wanjiku has secured student exchange programme in PSL and will be going to Paris for 6months on exchange programme.

 

In her closing remarks, the Dean Faculty of Science & Technology was impressed with facilitation the visiting faculty from PSL provided during the five day training workshop and encouraged more collaboration between the University of Nairobi and Chimie Paris Tech/PSL.
