TRAINING OF STUDENTS ON PUBLIC SPEAKING BY AFRICAN CENTER OF PUBLIC SPEAKING(ACPS)

The Department of Chemistry through KEN-01 project organized training on public speaking from Wednesday October 4 2023 to Friday October 6 2023 for selected students who recently graduated from the Department. This training need was identified during the breakfast meeting held in May 17 2023 for female students organized by the Inorganic Research Group(KEN01) project.This training was sponsored by Denis Foundation and KEN-01 project.

The training aimed at preparing students for interviews, leadership & mentality change to equip them on public speaking and interview skills as they exit the University. The training covered introduction to public speaking & rhetoric, subject preparation & interview skills & speech delivery.
