The Department of Chemistry in conjunction with RSC/PACN is inviting you for a seminar to be held on Tuesday 14th March 2023 in Room 119 from 2pm. Our Guest speaker will be Prof. Jolanta Warchoi from Wroclaw University of Science & Technology(WUST), Poland.
Prof. Jolanta is a program coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master-Sustainable Bio-Products & Bioprocess Engineering (EMJM-SBBE) programe at the University of Wroclaw of Science & Technology. This is a 2year(4 Semesters) MSc program financed by the European Union. The didactic program is realized in Poland, Spain, and Finland. This program offers scholarships (1400 Euros/month) for 20 students/year. Currently there are only six (6) students from Africa but none from Kenya.
Prof. will be sharing information about the EMJM-SBBE program and available scholarship opportunities for students. She will also give a presentation about her research field to explore cooperation opportunities and/or lectures for PhD students.
