The Department of Chemistry organized for mentorship talk which was held on April 19, 2024 at the Department of Chemistry, Seminar Room 119 targeting fourth year students who are set to graduate in September 2024. This was one among the many series of mentorship talks organized by the Department to prepare students for the job market. These mentorship talks focuses on leadership & soft skills meant to link students with industries and taking them through on how they can apply knowledge & skills gained in class and exposing them to various industries and what is expected from them in the job market.
The chief guest was our former Bachelor of Science student alumna, Ms. Sylvia Malimo who is currently working as a Chief Geo-Chemist at Geothermal Development Company(GDC) who shared insights on her educational and career journey, offering tips for success in life after University.
